Deborah Rankin
About
Deborah joined Bernazzani Law as a paralegal in May 2011 with a focus mostly in family law, trusts, and estates. Since then, she has expanded her areas to include immigration, an area she has grown to love and become well-versed in. Deb has a passion for learning and obtained her associate degree from Castle College in Windham, New Hampshire.
Prior to joining Bernazzani Law, Deb worked as a paralegal in New Hampshire since 1997, working for other prestigious attorneys in the area, as well as for a retired New Hampshire judge. Additionally, Deb worked as a guardian ad litem for the state of New Hampshire for a period of four years — a job she did exceptionally well. Working as a guardian ad litem gave her much perspective on how divorce/separation affects children, an insight that many legal professionals are not privy to in their careers. As such, Deb’s diverse experience allows her to approach cases with a broad understanding and a compassionate heart.
Deb is currently a member of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire, as well as a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Deb has had the privilege of attending the annual AILA conference with Attorney Bernazzani, and she looks forward to further broadening her knowledge in immigration law.
Deb married her husband, Steve, in 1999, and they have two children, Evan and Olivia. Deb and her family enjoy many activities together, including camping, hiking, paddle boarding, spending days at the beach, and watching Evan and Olivia’s various sporting events.
